Registration is now open for the next session of YWCA Bergen County programs. Classes run from April 19 through June 20 at the YWCA’s 112 Oak Street, Ridgewood location, and members can register at www.ywcabergencounty.org, by phone, or in person.

Session five includes new 360 Membership with unlimited access to land and water classes, unlimited lap swimming and whirlpool, reduced swim lesson fees and reduced dance class fees. Nine-week session memberships offer unlimited 360 movement classes with further reduced fees for students and families.

New for adults and teens, Intro to Belly Dance, teaches the basics of classical Egyptian Belly Dance in an enchanting experience! Belly dance creates strong, flexible core muscles, while wonderfully toning the arms and thighs. All levels are welcome to channel their Inner Goddesses, including beginners, expectant mothers, and post natal exercisers!

New for kids, session five offers non-recital children’s dance classes. For over 26 years, the YWCA Bergen County has been providing quality dance instruction for ages 3 to 13 in a fun, loving, and relaxed environment. For ages 3 to 4 years, Twinkle Toes non-recital class will be held Saturdays, from 12:00 pm to 12:45pm. Twinkle Toes develops movement skills through ballet basics and body motion. For ages 5 to 8 years, Ballet I non-recital class will be held Tuesdays, 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm. Ballet I offers ballet basics and movement for beginners and Twinkle Toes grads.

The YWCA offers dozens of other fitness, wellness, and enrichment programs for kids, teens, adults, and seniors, as well as American Red Cross certified swim classes for swimmers at every age and level. Drop-in child care is also available at the 112 Oak Street, Ridgewood facility. Visit www.ywcabergencounty.org or call 201-444-5600 for more information.
