WEST BERGEN JOINS “FLOW” PANEL DISCUSSION

West Bergen Mental Healthcare will be part of an important Town Hall Meeting in the form of a panel discussion on Thursday, January 29, 2015. Danielle Heller, LCSW, Clinical Director for West Bergen’s Center for Children and Youth will join the panel of counselors and law enforcement officials at 7:30 PM in the Indian Hills High School Auditorium, 97 Yawpo Avenue, Oakland, N.J.

Current Teenage Challenges: Promoting Wellness and Resiliency. is intended for parents of middle school and high school students and will be moderated by Steve Doocy, host of Fox and Friends, and will focus on relevant stresses impacting our families as well as building the capacity to cope with these challenges. In addition to West Bergen, the panel will include Student Assistance Counselors, Middle School Counselors, local law enforcement and the Bergen County Prosecutors Office. Each group will have a very short presentation followed by a question and answer session. Additionally, resource booths will be available beginning at 7:00 PM as well as after the presentation for additional support. This presentation is an effort coordinated and sponsored by the FLOW Municipal Alliances, Police Departments from Franklin Lakes, Oakland and Wyckoff, Ramapo Indian Hills HS District and the three K-8 sending districts (Franklin Lakes, Oakland and Wyckoff).
