YWCA Bergen County Hosts January Women’s Empowerment Network
Difficult People, Simple Solutions

YWCA Bergen County is holding its January Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN) event, “Difficult People, Simple Solutions” presented by Mary Adams, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 8:30 to 10:00 am at 112 Oak Street, Ridgewood.

Isn’t it annoying when your boss immediately squashes your ideas without even hearing them? Or when your co-worker takes credit for your work? These types of situations detract from our daily focus and result in inefficient and sometimes even a hostile environment. At January’s WEN event, we’ll walk through some simple tactics to improve outcomes, change how you handle difficult people and situations, and help you anticipate tactics intended to throw you off.

Certified Meeting Professional, Mary Adams is President of ECG, a full-service meeting management firm, and Executive Director for the Bergen County Professional Women’s Network. Mary has more than 15 years’ experience in the conference, meeting planning, association management and marketing business.

YWCA’s Women’s Empowerment Network is designed to provide women with ongoing support, inspiration, and opportunities to connect, share, learn, and lead as they travel their personal and professional paths. WEN sessions discuss the importance of engaging networking group members on a deeper and more rewarding level.
