Ridgewood YMCA and Whole Foods Market Partner for 5% Day

On Tuesday, September 23, Whole Foods and Ridgewood YMCA will partner for Whole Foods 5% Day with 5% of all purchases to benefit the Ridgewood YMCA’s Financial Assistance Fund and Community Outreach Programs.

Customers who shop at Whole Foods Market on September 23 may bring their receipt to the Ridgewood YMCA for a free trial month trial of YMCA Triangle membership (open to non-members only). Current YMCA members bringing their receipt into the YMCA will receive four free guest passes. Restrictions apply so please contact Ridgewood YMCA for further details.

YMCA Community Outreach programs benefiting from 5% Day include Rainbows, a peer support group for children who have experienced a painful family transition such as divorce, separation death or abandonment, Living Strong, Living Well, the Y’s strength and fitness program for cancer patients and survivors and Delay the Disease, a fitness program designed to empower people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) by optimizing their physical function and helping to delay the progression of symptoms.
