"Catch a New Spin on Learning" with Little Ivy Academy!

Posted: Wednesday, July 25, 2012

During the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce's Annual Sidewalk Sale Days on August 2, 3, & 4, Little Ivy Academy will be providing fun, hand's-on education to elementary school-age children at their portable learning center.

Little Ivy Academy staff will be on hand from 10am-2pm on Thursday and Friday, and noon-2pm on Saturday with free Flying Disks for children ages 5-10, as well as special hands-on opportunities for children and their families to learn what Little Ivy Academy has to offer.

When you and your child visit their table-- just next to the “Ice Cream Boy” statue in front of Van Neste Park on East Ridgewood Avenue-- your child will learn how to build and program robots, learn about flight (and school-day math & science) while building his/her own "flying flinker", and have some big, messy fun learning about how Little Ivy Academy's "ArtWorks!" courses will harness your child's need to express a story, science project, or poem in pictures.
